We want Walford Court to be an experience you won’t forget, something you’ll recommend to friends – a welcome, relaxing and romantic break from the stress of everyday life that you will recall with fondness. Our pleasure is to welcome you to our home on arrival, watch you truly unwind and relax, and say goodbye to you as friends when you depart. This beautiful old house provides the ambience and the atmosphere in which to enjoy a relaxing break – the romance is down to you!
FOR 500 YEARS WALFORD COURT has been sitting nestled amongst 20 acres of stream bordered Herefordshire countryside, and apart from the dismantling of the old castle on top of the motte, whose ancient stones are incorporated in the Courthouse, old barn and outbuildings, not too much has changed.
Walford Court B & B is situated in a small hamlet approximately 1 mile away from the old village of Leintwardine, known as Bravonium in Roman Times. The River Teme runs through the village, which is quintessentially English, boasting many local amenities, including a thriving school, beautiful church, 2 restaurants, an old parlour pub, swimming in the river and an award winning butcher who plays an important role in the Walford Court breakfast! We are about 8 miles from Ludlow. You can look forward to a variety of stunning views - we're on the border of Shropshire, Herefordshire and Wales.
